Catastrophes at George Diez apartment (colours by Gonzalez Haase)

‘The Colours of Catastrophe’ is a project begun by GONZALEZ HAASE AAS. They created an extensive color palate, even an implied color theory based literally of Coulours taken from popular images of disasters. June-14 took that pallet to the Diez house and began a discussion with each family member about what color and attendant disaster goes where. Balthazar, the youngest, choose ‘challenger explosion blue’ for the room of he and his sister. It is the exploded dreams of space travel along with a grey dust tone from 9.11, a deep blue from the challenger explosion, an intense yellow from an acid mine spill.
